          Verdict

          A high draw is always an advantage in events like this and the front running Madrasee is ideally placed to ensure that this will be run at a furious pace. However, it is doubtful as to whether the four-year-old is good enough to hold onto a lead whilst giving so much weight away here. Therefore the in-form Barrantes is the TEAMtalk selection in a race that marks a significant drop in class from last time. The 7lb claim of Nicky Farmer leaves the selection as an attractive looking proposition at the weights and he can get the better of Fiamma Royale and Tomthevic, who although capable, are not noted for their consistency.
