Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute has won this four times in the last 10 years with the likes of Harbinger and Conduit and FIORENTE will start a short-price to follow in their footsteps. Last month's second at Royal Ascot to Saturday's King George hero Nathaniel, now looks even better than it did at the time and with more to come, he can take this on his way to the St Leger. Slumber's recent third behind Pisco Sour has also worked out well given the latter won a Group 2 race in France on Sunday. He had subsequent winner Hunter's Light behind with Moriarty further back and Barry Hills' charge should be thereabouts. Namibian's victory in the Queen's Vase at Ascot sees him priced-up much shorter than stablemate Dordogne, though the latter is higher rated and won the Lingfield Derby Trial in May, while Highland Castle is progressive but far from straightforward. Yaseer gets a first-time visor after a below par effort in the Dante at York when last seen.
