Verdict

Richard Hannon know what it takes to win this having taken the last two renewals and he holds CROWN DEPENDENCY in high regard. The latter won his maiden over 6f here before finishing third in the Norfolk on slower ground at Ascot. Best racing just off the pace, he'll get the race run to suit today with so much speed on show and he can confirm running with Burwaaz, Pyman's Theory and Charles The Great. The latter has since beaten On The Dark Side at Newbury, while Stonefield Flyer landed the odds at Doncaster last time after finishing second in the Windsor Castle at Ascot. York Listed winner Miss Work Of Art will appreciate the drop back to 5f and has the beating of Vocational, while Requinto ran out an impressive winner of a Listed event at Tipperary last time and the Irish raider makes more appeal than compatriot Boris Grigoriev, who was third in a Group 3 race at the Curragh recently.
