        Verdict

        With Fullandby unlikely to take his chance, the selection pointer is aimed towards Holbeck Ghyll, with Idle Power and Woodcote fancied to follow him home. Holbeck Ghyll was an impressive winner two starts ago and has not been disgraced since. Andrew Balding's four-year-old ran well from a poor draw on his last start at Sandown and the expected warm weather should make the ground ride on the fast side. Idle Power is the apple of Jim Boyle's eye and the eight-year-old has been admirably consistent. His latest success, a narrow defeat of Kostar, has seen Idle Power's rating rise to 92, 3lb higher than he has ever won from. Amir Quinn is once again on board and he will run his normal race. Woodcote ran a blinder in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood and this is a much easier event, but amazingly for a horse rated 95 he has won just once.
