Verdict
Twice a winner over this trip last year, Land Of Winter has been lightly campaigned this season. Star Caliber is another who has raced only twice this year, along with Malakahna, while Bascule was making his seasonal reappearance in a hot handicap here last month. OUR JESTER looked sure to score when hitting the front at Ffos Las at the start of the month but he was caught close home by the rallying Singing The Blues. A first try over 2m on the Flat is sure to suit Hughie Morrison’s dual bumper winner. Mostly Cloudy rattled up a five-timer before finding Group 2 company too hot at York last week but the three-year-old may be due a rest. Arabescato is preferred to Vino Victrix of the others.
