      Verdict

      First Sitting won a similar race to this over the course and distance in May for which he’s penalised. He’s been racing in slightly better company without showing much improvement. Spark Plug wasn’t beaten far in that former event when not getting the best of runs but ran a shocker at Newbury last time. Plutonian ran very well when a close second in a Class 2 handicap here but couldn’t handle a 5lb rise in a similar race at Doncaster. GABR, who cost 300,000gns, is looking expensive though he’s gone close in a couple of Listed contests and though he’s never raced beyond a mile, he’s bred to get this trip.
