        Verdict

        CODICIL, unbeaten as a juvenile, was well beaten in her only start over a mile at Chelmsford in May. She’s had wind surgery and, as her dam won over 1m7f, this is more likely to be her trip and she could be on a very fair mark. Lorelina completed her hat-trick om heavy ground at Haydock and though that was over 1m2f she’s scored over an extended 1m4f and has every chance of staying this far. What A Home hasn’t had much racing but has some fair form in Group 3 class and looks capable of stepping up in trip. Elasia completed an all-weather double in novices’ company and started odds-on for a Class 2 handicap over this trip at Newmarket but couldn’t handle Amourice, who was receiving a stone. Pretty Jewel was in excellent form earlier this year and will enjoy the conditions more than most.
