Verdict
Global Heat won over today’s trip at Meydan early in the year with both Tides Of War and Traila well beaten. There was little between third-placed Sir Rumi and Nathanael Greene over 1m4f at Ascot recently while Selwan ended his time in France with a win at Deauville and debuts for last year’s winning yard. Aggagio has been scoring over hurdles and has a good strike-rate on the Flat but COURAGE MON AMI is taken to keep his unbeaten record intact. He beat a subsequent winner six lengths when defying a penalty at Newcastle and the Gold Cup entry makes his handicap debut having been gelded since last in action.
