Verdict
SURUOR will love the ground and his recent consistency can be rewarded with a win. David Simcock has his horses in great form and this gelding ran a cracker at Ascot last month when a close-up fifth in the International Stakes. City Style has his first start in a handicap this afternoon, whilst course and distance winner Axiom is down to a fair mark and the recent rain will suit him down to the ground. Desert Creek will relish conditions and his recent run at Haydock was a step back in the right direction. He has now had two starts after a mid-season break and should be cherry ripe, so along with the recent Thirsk scorer Mata Keranjang (at the 12th attempt), might rate the main danger.
