Verdict

Ella Smith and Victor's Bet won this in 2014 but the seven-year-old arrives in poor form and there are plenty of others with stronger claims. POINTILLISM is one and he gets the vote bidding for a hat-trick after victories at Redcar and Carlisle last time. Pink Ribbon was ahead of Zephyros when winning at Windsor earlier and is partnered by Serena Brotherton while Giovanni Di Bicci and Wordismybond passed the post practically upsides at Brighton recently. Bloodsweatandtears was narrowly beaten at the same track back in June and The Gay Cavalier went close at Yarmouth during the week.
