      Verdict

      This looks a tight contest though FALLING SHADOW finished streets ahead of the rest when runner-up in this grade at Newmarket. Charlie Appleby’s charge is just preferred to Savvy Victory, beaten only a nose when second of four runners at Doncaster. Paradias went close over 1m3f here last time and Maytree Respite has placed in lower grade contests at Sandown recently while the less-exposed Al Mubhir steps up in trip for his handicap debut and can't be ignored.
