Most of these have won around here and are old pals. Strangerontheshore looked to have a bit in hand here last time but is now on his highest-ever mark. Poet's Dawn is a four-times course winner who has been running well all summer without quite getting there but six-times all-weather winner Broctune Red gained his only success on Turf here last September. A low draw is an advantage here and HEAD CHEF has the inside berth. He showed good pace throughout when a close second at Ripon and can go one better. The 12-times winner Mr Strutter is on a fair mark though could find this stiff extended mile just beyond him but Crown Princess has won over the course and distance from this mark.
