Verdict

Only one three-year-old has been successful since 2002 though that won't put punters off backing either Marsha or Easton Angel, first and second in a Listed race at York earlier this month. However, the older MUTHMIR wasn't far behind the fillies having been held up well off the pace. With 2014 winner Take Cover likely to blazing a trail again, William Haggas' six-year-old can repeat his victory of 12 months ago if the gaps appear at the right time. Bob Cowell has few peers when it comes to preparing sprinters but Group 1 winner Goldream has had a break and the stable remain largely out of sorts. It's hard to see Move In Time, Line Of Reason or Cotai Glory reversing last year's form with the selection and Kachy looks held on recent form. Washington Dc finished ahead of Goken, Cotai Glory and Jungle Cat in the July Cup but dropping back to 5f may not suit. Pearl Secret would be thereabouts on his best form however.
