Verdict

This handicap is a true staying test and THEOLA should improve for this step up in trip after running on well last time while La Polka has proven stamina for this and a visor could bring about Whisky Galore's best. The pick's yard have been amongst the winners this week and this filly seems to have been heading in the right direction in recent starts. The improvement seems to be down to increasing her stamina tests and with her pedigree supporting that theory she should go well over a further couple of extra furlongs here off a good weight. La Polka looked an improved filly on her last start when staying on at Nottingham when upped to this trip. She's unexposed enough to improve again and should go well off the same mark. Whisky Galore has stamina to prove but did run on well at Lingfield when second best under this burden last time while Theologist found just a progressive type too good on his latest start and should get this trip. A competitive race to finish that should go the way of Theola.
