Verdict

Three year olds have comfortably outperformed their elders in the short history of this race so our short-list is confined to WEDDING MARCH, Ceilidh House, Mirror Lake and Clarietta although it could easily be extended in a fascinating contest. Preference is for the former Fabre inmate Wedding March who has yet to fulfil the promise of her juvenile career but, with her yard in fantastic form, she can be expected to improve now that she encounters the soft ground that her dam thrived on with a 9lb drop in the weights a further plus. Ceilidh House hasn't encountered cut in the ground since winning impressively on debut and could well prove a different proposition, Clarietta should also relish conditions and is bred to be a high class performer at around this trip whilst Mirror Lake has improved with every outing.
