        Verdict

        A competitive handicap but last year’s winner Atalanta's Boy seems to have developed a mind of his own. ABLE KANE (NAP) finished second in the Stewards’ Cup consolation here last month and had both Indian Creak and subsequent Windsor runner-up Treacherous behind. He placed again at Newmarket next time and Oisin Murphy is reunited with the much-improved four-year-old who hails from a yard enjoying a purple patch. Motagally has run well in a light campaign this year and can’t be ignored but the others appear out of sorts at present.
