In depth

Verdict

Intense Style ran well for second at Beverley last time but on his preferred soft ground. It was also testing going when Stake Acclaim and Normal Equilibrium won earlier this month at Windsor and Epsom respectively with the latter beating Monumental Man. Zac Brown won a decent sprint at Wolverhampton last month but seems best on the all-weather surfaces nowadays and top weight HARRY HURRICANE is preferred. George Baker’s charge has a recent pipe-opener under his belt and every chance on his second to subsequent Group 3 winner Steps in the Portland at Doncaster in September.
