Verdict
YAZAMAN looks to have leading claims on his placed effort in the Windsor Castle at Ascot and a more recent second in the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket. The Haggas colt had the measure of Qaader last time and the latter had earlier finished a creditable runner-up in the Coventry at Ascot with the Ballydoyle challenger Admiral Nelson, Lauded and Talbot all well beaten. Gussy Mac is going the right way having landed a Listed race at Sandown but Supremacy has only won a maiden at Windsor so far though is not dismissed out of hand as Clive Cox landed this with subsequent Group 1 winner Golden Horde last year.
