In depth

Formwatch

Anna Walhaan (IRE) Won in impressive fashion at Nottingham on debut last month; form of that race working out and has to be respected.

Dark Sorcerer Going the right way having followed respectable effort in the Coventry Stakes with victory in decent race at York; more needed here.

Esenin Impressive at Newmarket's July meeting on debut in softer ground; form has a solid look to it and if handling faster surface should go close.

Mister Cosmi Held in high regard by his handler who has a good record at this meeting; unlucky not to have won more than once and could add to his tally here.

Ocean Sound (IRE) Form solid but not spectacular and does need to improve in this company.

Prince Dayjur (USA) Has done little wrong but was outclassed in group company last time; Dettori booked but probably needs Superman on board to win.

Trilogy Dropping back in trip but stable know what it takes to win this race; has to be respected.

Triple Play (IRE) Held by Ocean Sound on running at Doncaster; likely to find at least one too good.
