Verdict

The veteran Newmill is still in cracking form and and it would be no great surprise to see him give lumps of weight to these rivals though the concession of two stone to THE SNEEZER may prove just beyond him. Tom Nagle's charge is a couple of pounds out of the handicap here but is still well enough rated and his front-running style should have many of these struggling from the start. Just Friends, who is also out of the handicap, was a fortunate winner last time and is probably held but Dr Whizz is back to his best trip after looking one paced over 2m4f at Naas. Most of the remainder, including the useful Glenfinn Captain, are racing at a distance well short of their best.
