Verdict

Aidan O'Brien had five of the original 15 entries and relies on THOMAS WEDGWOOD. A son of Galileo out of a 6f winner, he has entries in the Derbys at the Curragh and Epsom and is taken to make a successful start. Gentry, who has had the benefit of a run at Tipperary in October, is by Nayef and this should be his trip but though Hardstone has shown promise at Dundalk he's taking on potentially useful performers here. Jim Bolger's Teofilo colt Theophilus is also in the Epsom Derby and his dam produced New Regalia, who is in the previous race, with her first foal.
