    Verdict

This has been run six times and five favourites have won. Dermot Weld has been successful twice in recent years and is doubly-represented with Zaminast likely to prove better than Malayan Mist. However, he was a long way behind CHRYSANTHEMUM in the Alleged Stakes at the Curragh and the winner, who may not have been suited by making the running, should take this before heading for Group company. Her trainer, David Wachman, also runs the progressive Tannery but she has plenty to find and it's the other three-year-old, Soon, who looks a better prospect as, like so many of her stable's runners, she'll have come on for her opening run behind Backbench Blues at Naas.
