Aidan O'Brien holds the key to this with a trio of entries. Newcomer Mannheim is by Galileo out of a mare from the family of Moonstone so is certain to be suited by this trip as a juvenile. Triumphant looked as though the race would do him good on his debut here in May where he was behind stablemate SECRETARY OF STATE, who started odds-on but was beaten into second. The latter was also a short-priced favourite when again runner-up at Leopardstown but the winner that day, Teolane, went on to land a Listed contest before flopping at Ascot. Teolane's trainer, Jim Bolger, runs the filly Tiffilia here and she made a decent debut over 7f at Leopardstown when looking in need of the experience.
