In depth

Verdict

SOUTHERN CAPE, by Galileo out of Cheveley Park winner Tiggy Wiggy and owned by Coolmore, made an excellent start over the trip in what looked a strong maiden at Leopardstown where he was caught on the line. It will take a very good performance to beat him though another in the same ownership, Roman Empire, by Galileo and a half-brother to four winners including a Group 1 winner, is likely to test him. Johnny Murtagh has two entries with Fourhometwo possibly the pick over Skilled Warrior over this trip. Andy Oliver's Dontspillthestout is related to four winners though was cheaply bought.
