Verdict
Macs Charm completed a hat-trick over hurdles at this time a year ago including a victory here. He did very well to get so close to the winner on just his second start over fences here last month as his jumping left plenty to be desired. Winning hurdler and Grand National entry AIN'T THAT A SHAME has been very unfortunate not to have scored over fences. Placed behind very smart performers in his first two starts, he was beaten a head in the Munster National at Limerick and just over a length when fourth in the Paddy Power at Leopardstown, form that would see him very difficult to beat. Gars De Sceaux, a winning point-to-pointer and dual hurdles winner, looks like a strong staying type for chasing and testing ground would play to his strengths.
