The Gordon Elliott yard has won three of the four renewals and winning bumper Smooth Player should prove better than Find A Fortune at this stage after a very promising run at Naas, though both may prefer further. Sonny May disappointed in heavy ground at Limerick while winning point-to-pointer and bumper Fameaftertheglory has now had a dozen starts over hurdles and fences without winning, though the latter has been narrowly beaten the last twice so should get into the mix. But the vote goes to SIGN FROM ABOVE as Peter Fahey's charge, a winner on the Flat in September, was a close fourth behind High Definition at Leopardstown and the runner-up was placed in a Grade 3 next time with the third winning easily on Sunday.
