Goulane Chosen won this nice prize back in 2018 but was well behind Cusp Of Carabelli when the latter scored with a bit to spare at Thurles. Arahecan scored at Down Royal in December and was in front when falling two out there last month though had been well beaten behind Dinny Lacey at Limerick in-between and the latter has continued in good form. The Chapel Field has been going well and still looks on a fair mark while Pont Aven would have a chance second to none on his penultimate run behind Daly Tiger at Fairyhouse though it's hard to know what to make of his run at Leopardstown where he jumped poorly and was quickly pulled up. MINELLA TILL DAWN has hardly been consistent but was always travelling nicely when scoring with plenty in hand at Naas and though 9lb higher is handed the vote.
