Verdict

Jim Bolger has an excellent record in this and NOVIS ADVENTUS can add to the tally. A lightly-raced son of New Approach, he landed a Naas maiden before tackling Group 3 company at the Curragh and though only fourth behind Curvy he wasn't beaten far and the subsequent exploits of the winner point to his chances. Breenainthemycra completed a hat-trick over shorter trips before running into Ebadani at Galway. The latter was given a superb front-running ride by Sean Corby and this is his trip and ground. Askmour makes a quick reappearance after an unlucky run at Leopardstown on Thursday where he was impeded at a crucial stage though that was over 1m7f and this could prove too short. Ladies Derby winner Tooreen Legend and the useful jumper Macnicholson are others to consider in a wide-open handicap.
