ORCHID GARDENS is vulnerable to an improver but her overall form, especially in two very strong Curragh handicaps and a placed effort in a Dundalk Listed contest, give her the edge here though she's stepping up in trip. Laggata looked a likely future winner when narrowly beaten over 7f at Roscommon but didn't run up to that level over a mile here next time. Lady Hanson made a fair debut over this trip at Cork and didn't appear to stay when tackling 1m4f at Down Royal while Koola Buala was disappointing at Leopardstown and may do better on softer ground.
