On all known form this looks a two-horse race. Zafayan is likely to start a short-priced favourite despite being unable to handle Hostile Fire at Fairyhouse last month, though that was no disgrace as the third was a long way behind. He'll obviously take some beating but Willie Mullins' Germany-bred WHITEOUT won over 2m1f on the Flat at Maisons-Laffitte in July and looks an ideal type for jumping. The stable have won this for the past two years and a hat-trick beckons. The remainder with experience look difficult to fancy so any money for the newcomers Rhymers Club and Taken should be noted, especially the former who has a very nice pedigree.
