Verdict

Aidan O'Brien would have had plenty of options for this so the presence of Navan maiden winner Time To Boogie is intriguing. Archie Watson sends Pink Carnation from the UK but she's been beaten at Listed level in her last five starts. Jessica Harrington has won the last two of these and has three representatives. Shane Foley's presence suggests Village Voice, runner-up in a similar-grade race here in July, is the stable pick though Ronan Whelan was on board when SOUNDS OF HEAVEN landed a York Listed race in May and his mount's close third to Tahiyra in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes at Ascot is the stand-out form here. The ultra-consistent American Sonja, placed at this level in her last three races, looks certain to give another good account.
