DEFINITE RUBY (NAP) won a tough handicap at last year's Punchestown Festival and Gordon Elliott took advantage of a 10lb lower mark over hurdles on his reappearance there last month. Back over fences here he'll take some beating. The Gatecatcher is a young handicapper with a future judging by his victory at Naas where he won with a bit in hand so an 8lb rise may not prove insurmountable. Garrai Phaidin has been very consistent at this sort of level but is 20lb higher than his only victory to date. Winter Magic isn't the most consistent of performers but keeps popping up as he did at Thurles last month though he's now on his highest ever mark. Just Cause hasn't progressed from an excellent start over fences over this track and trip.
