In depth

Verdict

Bremen was a fortunate winner when Lucky William fell at the second last at Tipperary but it was a very nice chasing debut and he will improve for the experience. Pay The Bounty made a promising start over fences here but couldn't cope when stepped up to Grade 3 company at Cork and will find these rivals just as tough. The lightly-raced Romanesco did everything right when landing a minor race at Fairyhouse and can only get better while Taking Stock would have scored at Limerick but for a heavy fall and looked a classy recruit previously at Listowel. If he's none the worst for that mishap he will take some beating but QUADRILLON is the pick despite getting no further than the first on his chasing bow at Fairyhouse as he was the best of these over timber and is in receipt of weight from them all.
