An interesting maiden with several promising types including Escudero, who ran well on his hurdling bow at Clonmel and will have come on for the experience. Forty Foot Tom also made a promising start over timber behind Staying Article at Naas and will love the heavy ground as will recent Wexford bumper winner Definite Class, who is improving with each run and gets the mare's allowance. Falcon Island is one of the most experienced here and should go well but it's a newcomer to hurdling, TORNEDO SHAY, who gets the nod. Thomand O'Mara's charge was a high-class bumper who won three times on ground with plenty of give and a run on the Flat at Sligo in late September will have put him straight for his debut over timber.
