BELL WEIR is a progressive type who landed a Cork bumper last month before a fine debut over timber at Tramore where he may have won but for a mistake at the last. He gets the vote in an open maiden in which Time Please is just one of several dangers. He looked certain to win at Limerick last month only to hang in the closing stages through inexperience. Another Charm won a Galway bumper in August but hasn't run on ground this testing so Silverpockets may prove more of a threat as she was staying on very strongly in a Tramore bumper last time. Curvacious was behind the selection at Cork but has since run well when attempting to make all over slightly further at Limerick and winning point-to-pointer Mac Idol ran her best race so far over hurdles in very heavy ground at Tramore on New Year's Eve.
