Verdict
Pirateer has been gradually improving and found softer conditions to his liking at Listowel though whether an 8lbs rise is fair is another matter. He had earlier finished just in front of DEFINING YEAR and Ancient Sands at the Curragh but the former was making his debut and has since scored nicely at Listowel. He looks a fair prospect and can complete the double though Future Impact has looked in need of this trip on his latest starts and can provide a threat. Hasty Katie had In Good Voice and the odds-on Enchanted Forest behind when scoring at Galway but she was well behind Pirateer at Listowel and the form may not amount to much.
