In depth
Verdict
Haydens Mark can make his mark in this grade; of the remainder, Didana may be worth another chance. The selection has stacks in hand on official ratings but connections suggested that he was flattered by his mark prior to his recent outing and he certainly never looked like living up to it. That does sound a note of caution as far as today is concerned if he's sent off at a short-price but he was only beaten 5 lengths and should be good enough to win this. Didana was supported into favouritism at Windsor last time but was beaten very quickly. It may be that the surface didn't suit and as she has shown form at Wolverhampton in the past we wouldn't be too quick to dismiss her here. Sergeant Sharpe finished in front of Didana at Windsor but didn't look like a winner in waiting although most of these, as you'd expect, have a bit to prove. As Tewin Green has had just the one start, she can't be dismissed but Haydens Mark should be good enough.
