In depth

Verdict

MAHADEE is taken to land this handicap at the main expense of Bishopbriggs and little Knickers. The selection bids to defy a six pound penalty after his success at Southwell recently. His best form has been on an all-weather surface and with that in mind he is a horse to stay on the right side of. Bishopbriggs caught the eye when finishing second to Shakespeare's Son at Southwell last time out. He has previous winning form on the all-weather and if he is able to recapture his best he is sure to be in the shake-up. Little Knickers is another horse that comes into this race in fine spirits. She was not beaten far when finishing a good second at Lingfield last time out and another bold bid can be expected. Jollyhockeysticks has been in good form and she looks to have a decent each-way chance, but Mahadee should take all the beating and he is put forward as the pick.
