Verdict
This is an open maiden and we will put forward Yokozuna to get the better of Tasman Gold and Mister Green. Ed Dunlop's colt showed plenty of promise on his debut when he chased home Cool Art at Yarmouth and that looks solid enough form. He should improve for the run so there is plenty to recommend him. Tasman Gold is an interesting newcomer and he could give our selection the most to think about. Andrew Balding has not sent many 2-year-olds to post this season, but those that he has have run well and this colt is certainly one to note in the market. Mister Green is a Green Desert colt and Mark Wallace has already had a 2-year-old winner, so he is another to note in the market. Victorian Tycoon is another newcomer who hails from a yard that merits plenty of respect in these type of events. However, Yokozuna sets a decent standard here and he should be hard to beat.
