Verdict

CLASSIC BLUE can help young Master Buick take another step towards the coveted title of Champion Apprentice. Strike Force and Lord Theo appeal as options for the forecast. Ian Williams has enjoyed some high profile success on the level this year and this one won provided him with a winner at a less exalted level at Kempton. She has only gone up by 5lbs for that ready win in a modest contest and can continue her good form. Strike Force failed to complete a Wolverhampton hat-trick last time when never competitive. That may have been, in part, due to the way that the race unfolded and he has to be on the short-list. Lord Theo hasn't been in the same form lately and has yet to win on the all-weather but he has slipped to a very attractive mark. He's gone well for today's pilot in the past and may be able to take advantage of his declining mark in the near future but Classic Blue's purple patch can continue.
