        Verdict

        The handicapper has been reluctant to drop BARKSTON ASH in the weights despite the latter not winning since 2014. But he may be up to scoring off his current mark having placed on his last couple of outings. Be Bold has a recent outing under his belt and went close at Windsor in October while Ambitious Icarus finished closer at Leicester last week but has done most of his winning over 5f. Jacob's Pillow won a claimer here last year and has been running well on the all-weather and Something Lucky won at Wolverhampton in February.
