        Verdict

        Argentine and Whozart have claims here but we have marginal preference for ROCKETBALL. The four-year-old gelding made an impressive return to the turf last time out after spending a disappointing six months on the all-weather. He finished second there, in what looked a decent contest for the grade, and can claim a belated first career win. Argentine has been in good form on the all-weather this year and ran a solid race in first-time blinkers last time and can make the frame here. Whozart won off a six pounds higher mark at Catterick in the autumn and has dropped down to an attractive mark - although it is easy to understand the assessor's decision given his recent form.
