        In depth

        Verdict

        Hanalei Bay's third at Wolverhampton last season is the best form on offer but he was tailed off on his recent reappearance. Pastoral Prey finished closer over 5f here last time but is more exposed than Meeting In Paris. The latter steps back up in trip after a second at Beverley and makes more appeal than Pilates, who showed no improvement when a well beaten fourth at Newmarket last time. Given today's modest opposition it would be no surprise if YARN, a half-sister to a 6f winner, proved good enough on her debut and she gets the nod for a yard with an impressive strike rate at the track.
