Verdict

After a short-head defeat in the Brocklesby, First Bombardment has started favourite in each of his three subsequent runs. There were possible excuses for defeats at Musselburgh and Ripon but it's hard to find one for his latest start at Catterick where he went out like a light. RISK ADJUSTED finished just in front of him at Ripon and was beaten by the minimum margin when attempting to make all over 6f at Redcar where he was caught on the line. Cotton Camera showed the benefit of her opening run with a better effort at Doncaster where she stayed on after missing the break. Irish Cailin showed good pace before weakening in that event and that will have brought her on. Candy Hill's dam has had four previous foals and all have won though another furlong wouldn't go amiss but Comparinka is speedily-bred being a sister to the 5f winner Clumber Street.
