Verdict

Roger Fell has done well to guide PIONEERING back to winning brackets and the former Godolphin inmate was impressive when over 1m1f at Musselburgh last time. He's at home on heavy going and should remain competitive on that evidence off his new mark. Firewater ran well when last seen in a competitive Carlisle handicap looks the danger off bottom weight as Spirit Of Sarwan is not easy to catch right but useful at this level on a going day. Carbon Dating has every chance if reproducing an excellent run here last time when denied by the minimum margin.
