Verdict

Rose Bandit and Bella Brazil are not ruled out but this looks a likely shoot-out between the Johnston and Fahey stables, who field five of the seven. Makyon has his fair share of weight and Good Night Mr Tom arguably had limitations exposed at Catterick last time there are ground concerns surrounding One Hart, though he may prove best of the Johnston trio if doing so. The New Marwan has produced a consistent sequence but doesn't look to have too much in hand of the handicapper so NATIONAL LEAGUE gets the vote. He looked to be progressing before being beaten out of sight by Mums Tipple at York. However, that was also the case for the rest of the field.
