Verdict

Economic Crisis won the inaugural running back in 2014 while both Bronze Beau and Spirit Of Wedza have won this in subsequent years. The latter makes most appeal of that trio racing off a winning mark if an apprentice’s allowance is taken into consideration. Arnold is not badly weighted on last year’s winning form at Beverley but JEFFREY HARRIS has a fitness advantage and back on a winning mark after a better effort at Musselburgh, Jim Goldie’s charge gets the vote. Red Stripes won at Southwell earlier but has yet to score on Turf while Lathom slips further down the weights and new trainer Paul Midgley will be winning with him before long.
