    Verdict

    William Haggas has a good strike rate at the Scottish tracks and DEPUTISE (NAP) has leading claims on these terms. Beaten only a short-head at last month’s All-Weather Championships on his reappearance, the return to 5f is no problem and he gets the vote despite carrying a penalty. Semoum is also penalised for landing a double over 6f last summer and has had wind surgery subsequently while Secret Venture ran well considering the testing ground in Listed company at Ayr when last in action in September. Rocket Action has a bit to find at the weights in this grade and Sambucca Spirit is impossible to fancy off a mark of only 40 but will pick-up prize money for finishing last.
