Verdict
Rainbow Zest won with a little more in hand than the official margin suggested at Carlisle last time and he looks capable of following up here from a decent pitch, while Oeuf A La Neige and El Dececy are among others in with a shout. The selection is suited by fast ground and around this trip and came good in a minor contest at Carlisle last time. Paul Hanagan is an eyecatching booking and a 6lb penalty can be overcome. Oeuf A La Neige is a c&d scorer who has ground to suit here but since winning at Musselburgh last year he has been in the grip of the assessor and he looks in need of a further drop before winning again. El Dececy has been going well over a fair bit further than this, in fact last time out he was third to Mister Arjay over two miles at Beverley, and though in good heart it is hard to see him having the toe for a mile. Supercast is well related as far as this trip is concerned and can get competitive from this mark, Defi could be a real threat as he now looks well treated if he can return to something like his best form, while King Of The Moors could be given another chance after last time¿s effort. Even so, Rainbow Zest perhaps kept a little back last time and can use that to his advantage here.
