In depth
Verdict
Chanteuse Noire gets the vote here with Dulce Sueno, and Vibrato rating the main dangers. The selection has had plenty of chances but a reproduction of his latest third behind Hotham sets the standard in the context of this race and he need only run up to that mark to score. Dulce Sueno rates the main danger on his latest second behind Rothestay Dancer but all his best form is over the minimum trip and with this in mind he looks worth taking on. Vibrato is another that could go well as he showed a modicum of ability on his debut and is sure tom improve but he is bred to be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Zantero, is another with place claims but is very exposed and with this in mind for the winner we return to Chanteuse Noire.
